Delivered remotely and confidentially via either telephone or Google Meet; whichever feels the best fit for you.

Initial enquiries and consultations

Everyone should be able to enquire about a service or product before they make any big decisions. I offer a free consultation about any of the above services, with no obligations or pressure.

It's an opportunity for you to learn more about my approach, experience, and the type of support I can offer to you. It's also a chance for me to learn a little more about your unique circumstances and aims, so that we can learn and decide together whether we'll be good fit.

Whether you're a potential client or a therapist looking for supervision or mentorship, I'd encourage you to schedule consultations with a few different providers so you can feel confident you've found the best support for you.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

This is the main therapy I am accredited and experienced in, at the core of all therapeutic support offered. Take a look at our 'about' section to learn more about this type of therapy itself.

Typically, CBT is delivered on a weekly or fortnightly basis because research highly suggests that consistency is a key indicator of therapeutic progress. It's also great to meet regularly so that we can together keep 'up to date' on your life events, experiences and review your progress.

Whilst CBT offered by the NHS usually places a timescale and/or limit on the number of CBT sessions available to clients in a period of time, Unearth Psychotherapy believes therapy duration should be discussed on an individual basis and decided collaboratively between the therapist and the client. This means that once your therapy journey begins, we don't have to be too strict about the number of appointments available to you from the outset. Whilst the goal will always be to work towards your independence away from therapy and eventually say our goodbyes, I believe that YOU should ultimately decide when those goodbyes happen.

When you access private therapy, you're not just investing in that session. You're also investing in the time your therapist spends preparing specifically for your appointments, the researching and sharing of relevant resources/additional tools, your therapists' knowledge and experience tailored to you, and the completion of all behind-the-scene clinical work/administrative 'stuff' that ensures your therapy is safe, effective and supportive 🌿

Academic and therapist-specific mentoring

If you're looking for tailored support to aid your professional development, I offer specialist mentoring** for Trainee High-Intensity Therapists (HITs) and newly qualified practitioners. Navigating your therapy training year and transitioning into a newly-qualified role can be incredibly demanding (trust me, I know!), so we can work together to build your confidence and implement all your new knowledge and experience effectively into your clinical work.

I have 7+ years of NHS IAPT/NHS Talking Therapies experience using a mixture of both cognitive and behavioural formulations and frameworks, as well as supervising both 'Step 2' and 'Step 3' therapists. Take a look at the 'about' section to learn more about my background and experience.

My academic and mentoring support offered is completely flexible in duration and frequency, meaning we can meet just once, weekly, every few months, or at specific parts of your professional journey (e.g. KSA submission time, interview prep, caseload adjustments, first accreditation audits etc).

Mentoring can cover many different areas, including (but not limited to) the following:

Case report and essay writing guidance

CTS-R framework preparation and support

Understanding of specific formulation(s)

Techniques to prepare for exams/presentations during the HIT course

Specific protocol application e.g. OCD, health anxiety, PTSD

KSA preparation and submission guidance

BABCP first accreditation and accreditation support

Increasing caseloads and clinical diary management

Tips for prioritising therapist wellbeing

** Mentoring is not designed to substitute or replace clinical supervision.

BABCP Accredited Supervision

As a fully qualified, experienced and accredited practitioner, I'm able to offer supervision to fellow CBT therapists in private practice. My approach is calm, collaborative and curious. Supervision shouldn't be a stressful experience and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to use my clinical experience to help you build on your own with confidence.

I take a flexible approach to supervision - meaning we can meet as often as you like, for a suitable duration depending on your current caseload and capacity. I'm happy to deliver supervision via telephone or video call, whichever fits your circumstances best.
